Panda Bear’s new H2O-themed
album Buoys is dull as dishwater.
“A collection of profound and epic album reviews and musical articles by former astronaut and brain surgeon, Alasdair Kennedy. Reaching levels of poetry that rival Keats and Blake, the following reviews affirm Alasdair to be a prodigy, a genius and a god whose opinion is always objectively right. He is also without a doubt the most modest man in the universe.” - Alasdair Kennedy

Albums I Never Got Round To Reviewing In 2018: Travis Scott, KIDS SEE GHOSTS, Greta Van Fleet and more...
I wasn't blogging as incessantly in 2018, but I still found time to listen to a lot of albums, some of which I wish I'd reviewed. I thought I'd take this opportunity to gloss over some of those albums.
Astroworld – Travis Scott
Travis Scott’s auto-tuned drivel doesn’t really do much for
me, although I must say this is the most sophisticated auto-tuned drivel I’ve
heard. The glitzy production and the star-studded array of guests shows that
Travis is definitely a good orchestrater – few hip hop artists can rope
together Stevie Wonder, James Blake and Kid Cudi all onto a single album, let
alone a single track. The whole album feels like one big party – I just don’t
care for the man at the centre of it.

My Top 20 Favourite Albums of 2018
Having already delved into my favourite and least favourite singles, it's now time for my belated top 20 favourite albums of 2018. Feel free to let me know your favourite albums of the year - there was so much music being released in 2018 that I could barely keep up with it all, so I've probably missed out on a few hidden gems.
As always, don't forget to check out my previous year end lists from 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012!

20. Errorzone –
Vein
Boston metal/hardcore band Vein let loose a non-stop assault
of explosive riffage and wild percussion. If you like your music loud, heavy
and unrelenting, this is certain to hit your sweet spot.
